[Class 37] [Also in Group XVII] A display cabine for the storage, testing and delivery of electric dry batteries has compartments for con taining batteries o different voltge deno mination, together with voltage testing means located withir the cabinet. In one arrangement, the compartment A has a slide a provided with a projection b engaging pivoted plates c, c<1>. The plates in turn cause contacts e with seal cutters g to engage the terminals of a battery K under test, a plate t on the slide a preventing the next battery from falling into test position. After testing, and when the projection b fully enters between the plates c, c<1>, the battery is in position to fall through the delivery aperture O. In other compartments, the batteries themselves are slidden into engagement with the test contacts. The test circuits include parallel connected lamps and a meter.
