Oil is obtained from blubber by disintegrating finely, mechanically stirring whilst heating indirectly to a temperature, below 60 DEG C., at which no substantial coagulation of albumen takes place, and pressing. 20 Min. stirring at 40--55 DEG C. is suitable.
