Abstract

Heat-stable polystyrol is prepared by heating polystyrol at a raised temperature but below the decomposition temperature, that is, below about 160 DEG C. until the softening point is increased to above 80 DEG C. Specifications 243,768, 307,936, [both in Class 2 (iii)], 355,790, and 401,500 are referred to.
