[Class 17 (ii)] A rubber-soled shoe has secured to it by stitches 9 a cushion 2 of reduced thickness at its margin secured by cement to the underside of an insole 6. The cushion 2 comprises a layer of cork 4 with a leather covering on its underside not extending to the edges, and stitches 5 prevent its movement relatively to the sole. The stitches 9 penetrate a welt 8, upper materials, insole 6, cushion 2 and outer sole 1.
