Abstract

Rubber or like latex is stabilized by the addition of the serum, or the material intermediate between the serum and the latex, derived from a more stable latex furnished by a different plant species. For example, Hevea latex may be stabilized by the serum of Abariana or Funtumia latex. The latex so stabilized may be coagulated by the process described in Specification 466,885.
