465,572. Lifeboats. MASON, R. T. G. June 3, 1936, No. 30859. Divided out of 457,598. [Class 113 (ii)] Lifeboats comprising an outer shell 1 and an inner passenger compartment capable of oscillating relative to the outer shell is provided with ventilating shafts communicating with side ventilators 43 the exit of which is guarded by labyrinth baffles 45. The ventilator is further provided with adjustable dampers 47 and drainage holes 46. A top ventilator comprises a rotatable cowl 49 with an internal damper controlling the exit 53.
