[Class 20 (iii)] Window regulators of the kind comprising rotatable screws engaging nuts fixed to the sides of the sash and driven by centrallydisposed hand-actuated helical or like gear and a shaft 1 are characterized in that the sash is guided by felt-lined mouldings or beads 11 engaging the nuts 3 attached to the sash stiles. The cross shaft 1 is housed in the upper horizontal frame member.
