Abstract

463,502. Cycle-pump handles. BLUEMEL BROS., Ltd., and BLUEMEL, F. W. Feb. 5, 1936, No. 3391. [Class 61 (i)] A cycle tyre-pump handle 14 is positively secured against downward movement relatively to the pump rod 10 by providing the handle with an inwardly extending abutment or flange 15 engaging with a flange on the rod or with a part such as an apertured disc 13 located against a flange 12 on the rod ; the upper end 11 of the rod is spun over at 17 in the usual manner to engage the cap 16. The shock absorbing spring 22 is of tapered form with the upper end 24 engaging the rod-flange 12.
