463,237. Resilient supports. SIEMENSSCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. Sept. 11, 1936, No. 24838. Convention date, Dec. 7, 1935. [Class 108 (iii)] Parts of electric discharge apparatus, particularly parts of metal vapour rectifiers such as anode grids, electrodes, protecting tubes, cooling insets, and the current rectifier vessels themselves, are flexibly connected together by forming the parts with oppositely-facing recesses 6, 7 between which a spiral coil or coils 4, 5 of wire are inserted under pressure, the shape of the recesses causing deformation of the coil or coils which are thus held in position. The coils when deformed may be of elliptical cross-section with the major axis horizontal, as shown, or vertical.
