Abstract

A permanent magnet is formed from an iron alloy practically free from carbon and comprising 20-40 per cent of nickel, 10-15 per cent of aluminium, and 0,7-5 per cent of titanium, with or without up to 10 per cent of cobalt, and with or without up to a total of 5 per cent of one or more of the following elements: manganese, molybdenum, chromium silicon, uranium, vanadium, and tungsten.
