Abstract

Alloys for permanent magnets contain over 25 per cent of iron, 7-30 per cent of nickel, 3-20 per cent of aluminium, and over 20 and up to 40 per cent of copper, with or without up to 20 per cent of cobalt and up to a total of 10 per cent of one or more of the metals chromium, manganese, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, and titanium. Up to 1,5 per cent of carbon may be present.
