460,917. Cramps. WHITELEY, F. Aug. 8, 1935, No. 22371. [Class 61 (ii)] A woodworker's cramp comprises a channel section base bar 1, a normally stationary jaw 2 adjustable in position by means of a bolt 3 adapted to engage series of holes 4, 6 in the jaw tail piece 5 and bar 1 respectively and a movable jaw 7 slidable between side plates 8 fixed to the bar 1 and actuated by a pivoted lever 11 and link 13, a gravity or spring-loaded pawl, detent or eccentric 14 holding the movable jaw against rearward movement.
