459,740. Band-style cartons. THYNE, W., Loohend Works, Edinburgh. Dec. 12, 1935, No. 34461. [Class 18] A " band-style " carton comprises back 2, front 5, and end walls 1, 1a assembled to form a ring, panels 4, 7, 3, 8 forming respectively bottom, back lining, lid and tuck-in flap, panels 6, 6a forming end liners, and tabs 9 being provided on the upper edges of the end walls. The blank is stored with the panels 6, 6a folded inwards and with panels 3, 7 drawn through the ring 1, 2, 1a, 5, folding taking place about the line between panels 4, 7. The box is erected by pulling on panel 8 to bring the bottom 4 into position and thereafter folding panels 6, 6a outwards into position.
