Abstract

458,550. Pressing fabrics &c. SCHUSTER, F., 39, Furtherstrasse, Chemnitz, Germany. April 2, 1936, No. 9768. Convention date, Jan. 18. [Class 42 (i)] Stockings &c., on forms 13 carried by a continuously moving chain 12 are pressed between blocks 14 also carried on continuously moving chains 10. The blocks 14 have a pin-and-slot connection 16, 18 with the chain links 17 and are kept in normal position by springs 19. Projections 23 on the blocks and extra guides 22, 24 ensure that the blocks are parallel to the forms 13 just before and just after they are in contact with them. The blocks 14 may be heated.
