Abstract

Relates to machines of the kind shown in Specifications 658,791 and 704,335 for making pile fabric by folding yarns between blades on an endless chain and applying a backing to the peaks of the resulting corrugations in the yarns. According to the invention, the vertically-reciprocating member that pushes the yarns between the blades can be swung upwards clear of the working parts to give access for maintenance purposes.
