Abstract
457,840. Seats. LA FETRA, H. L., 270, Riverside Drive, New York, U.S.A. Jan. 16, 1936, No. 1437. Convention date, Jan. 29, 1935. [Class 52 (ii)] X-form legs 10, 11 are pivoted to the seat frame 22 and to links 23 also pivoted to the seat frame, so that the legs may be folded into one plane and the seat folded against them. A back 25 is pivoted to the seat at 26. Its lower ends are connected by a transverse bar 28, which is connected by a toggle link 29, 291, to a similar rod connecting the upper ends of the legs 11. When the back is lifted to unfold the seat, the parts 29, 29<1> tend to unfold the seat framework.
