194,961. Hardman, M. April 20, 1922. Sliding-seats for theatres &c. The rearwardly slidable seat member 12 is provided with swing- ing means pivoted to the side frames 10 and arranged entirely below the seat, such means comprising a long link 19 connected by a bar 28 to a short link 20, the latter link carrying a pin 25 engaging a slot 27 in the side rail 22. The back 13 may be pivoted at 16 and articulated at 18 to the seat member 12.
