[Class 52 (ii).] A folding adjustable chair comprises a frame a forming the rear legs and the front rail, a frame b forming the front legs f, a third frame c forming the back, links k and m both pivoted to the lower end of the back frame c and also to the front and rear legs respectively, means such as a cross bar near the lower end of the back frame adapted to abut against the upper sides of the rear legs, links l forming arm rests pivoted to the upper end of the front frame b and to the back frame c, and means such as notches h near the front of the frame a adapted to coact adjustably with the front frame b, as by engaging a cross-bar g therein. The seating surface consists of a strip of canvas &c.
