Abstract

457,572. Pivoted window regulators. ROBINSON, KING, & BRITISH CHALLENGE GLAZING CO., Ltd., and McCLUSKEY, W., 10, Marshgate Lane, Stratford, London. Jan. 15, 1936, No. 1337. Class 20 (iii)] Pivoted skylights, windows, and the like are opened and closed by hand-gearing 3 and flexible shafting 7 connected by worm gear and a shaft 12 to quadrants 11 on the sashes 1. The shafting 7 comprises rods 4 journalled in brackets 5 and flexible lengths 7 connected by sleeves soldered to the flexible parts and keyed to the rods. Each fanlight 1 has two quadrants driven by pinions 10 on the shaft 12.
