457,156. Motor vehicles. STEYRDAIMLER-PUCH AKT.-GES., Steyr, Austria. Feb. 15, 1936, No. 4668. Convention date, Feb. 19, 1935. [Classes 79 (iii) and 79 (iv)] [See also Group XXXII] An armoured car is arranged with a driver's cab c in front of and above the front axle band a fighting turret e in an elevated position between the front and rear axles, the fighting turret and cab being partitioned off from the engine space which is at the rear by an armoured partition g. The engine &c. is preferably arranged low down over rear wheels mounted on rocking beams, the drive also being transmitted to the front wheels. A suction fan k is provided which not only serves to cool the radiator but draws out the foul powder gases from the fighting turret e through apertures in the partition g. The armoured base, with armoured casing m for the transmission serves the purpose of a frame.
