1,137,736. Racing car frames and suspension. RUBERY, OWEN & CO. Ltd. 6 March, 1967 [8 March, 1966], No. 10011/66. Headings B7D and B7H. A racing car has engine 12, differential 14 and gear-box 13 formed as one assembly and bolted by links 15, 16, 19 and 21 (not shown) to the rear transverse bulkhead 11 of the cars monoque body shell 10, the assembly being provided with anchorages 26, 27, 33 on which are mounted the rear suspension comprising struts 28, 29, 31, 34 and dampers 32. Further struts are fixed to anchorages 35, 36 on the body shell.
