[Class 98 (ii)] Pose reflecting photographic apparatus of the kind in which a transparent reflector is located between the camera and the subject, the camera being located in a walled structure which excludes substantially all light except that passing through the transparent reflector and in which reflecting means is provided outside the path of the light from the subject to the camera to permit the subject to obtain a profile view reflected from the transparent mirror, is characterized in that the walled structure constitutes a part of the cabinet, which embraces the camera and which also includes wall portions extending forwardly from the walled structure in which the reflecting means is mounted. As shown, the subject 11 is located in front of a cabinet 10 similar to a dressing table, having a table portion 12 and a front wall 13 having an aperture 13<1> through which the subject may view a full face image in a lightly-silvered reflector 14. Behind the reflector 14 is the camera 15. The cabinet 10 is light-tight to enhance the apparent reflecting power of the reflector 14. Lateral mirrors 22, 23 permit the subject to see a profile view when the reflector 14 is turned in either direction by the handle 34. The camera may be operated by the subject or an attendant. Lamps are provided on top of the cabinet 10. In a modification the front walls, some of which are obliquely disposed, are transparent, and lights behind the front walls illuminate the subject and prevent him seeing through the transparent reflector. The lights have different intensities.
