[Class 126] In a combination range comprising a hob 6 with one or more hot-plates 7 surmounting the open fireplace, a front flue 4, and a back boiler flue 5, a mid-flue 8 is provided which extends up to a short distance from one or more of the hotplates in order to concentrate the gases passing up it upon the underside of the selected hot-plate or plates. A damper 11 controlling the flue 8, together with dampers controlling either or both of the flues 4, 5 may be provided.
