453,752. Rotary meters. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ, 12, Place des Etats-Unis, Montrouge, Seine, France. March 20, 1936, No. 8433. Convention date, March 30, 1935. [Class 110 (ii)] A vane-wheel meter is adjusted by varying the effective length of a radial baffle 1 situated adjacent the vane wheel. The baffle is shown carried by a screw plug 3 which is turned in steps of 180‹ so that the plane of the baffle is always set in the axis of the vane wheel. For meters which are used for flow in either direction the radial baffle is symmetrically situated to lie perpendicular to the line joining the inlet and outlet orifices. A plurality of adjustable baffles may be provided. The screw plug of the baffle is covered by a sealed cap 5 after the adjustment has been made.
