[Class 38 (iv)] The intensity of illumination of stage lighting installations is regulated independently from different positions. The supply of current from the mains 3 to the control terminals 4 of gridcontrolled discharge lamps is regulated by either of the resistances 1, 2, independently of the other. The two stationary tapping points are arranged at the centres of the resistances, the tapping point of resistance 1 being connected to the adjustable arm of resistance 2.
