Abstract

453,011. Valve generating circuits. RADIOAKT-GES. D. S. LOEWE, 10, Wiesenweg, Steglitz, Berlin. July 10, 1935, No. 19683. Convention date, July 20, 1934. Addition to 423,394. [Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v)] Two or more relaxation oscillators of the kind employing a grid -controlled gas-discharge tube 3 and a resistance 1 in the discharge circuit of the condenser 2, as described in the parent Specification, are so dimensioned that the time constants of the resistance-condenser combination are the same in all the associated oscillators. Thus in a television system the line-frequency oscillator may use a condenser of about 0À01 mf. and a resistance of about 500 ohms, and the image-frequency oscillator, a condenser of about 2 mf. and a resistance of about 3 ohms. The time constant should be equal to the duration of the shortest signal employed for synchronizing.
