Abstract
452,544. Ink receptacles. RUEGGER, A., 55, Stockerstrasse, Zurich, Switzerland. Oct. 12, 1935, No. 28195. Convention date, Oct. 12, 1934. [Class 146 (iii)] A safety ink bottle is provided with a funnelshaped inset carried by a removable cover for the bottle, the inset being arranged in the neck of the bottle and having a narrow opening at its lower end which is situated near the bottom of the bottle, a dipping opening for permitting access to the ink being provided in a neck which projects into the inset. The removable cover 3 screws on to the bottle 1 and has a dipping opening formed in a downwardly-directed neck 4 which may be integral' with the cover and projects into the funnel-shaped inset 5. In a modification, the neck 4 and inset 5 are joined integrally and are attached to the cover. Owing to the relative magnitudes of the volumes 2, 6, and the provision of the parts 4, 5, ink cannot flow out of the bottle if the latter is upset. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to British Specifications 6818/13, 214,896, [both in Class 146 (iii)], and 406,041, and U.S.A. Specification 1,875,866.
