452,352. Absorbent tissue paper. HOFFMAN, G. C., 41st Street Hotel, and BOURGOGNE, H. DE, Atlas Hotel, both in Manhattan, New York, U.S.A. Oct. 4, 1935, No. 27446. [Class 96] Tissue paper, e.g. made from spruce pulp, for bed-sheets, pillow cases, &c. is made strong, supple, soft, absorbent, &c. by saturation, e.g. using a bath or rollers, &c. with a solution of glycerine, ethyl alcohol, and water respectively in parts by volume of 1, 2, 3, which contains 5¢ ozs. of talcum powder to 6 galls. of solution. The treated paper is passed between wringer rolls and dried.
