[Class 20 (iii)] The tube of a pneumatic jointing or sealing device for doors of gasprotection chambers or the like is provided with an integral radial web or flange 2 by which the tube is attached to its housing and the thickness of the wall of the tube lies between one-thirteenth and one-seventh of the diameter of the uninflated tube. The cylindrical housing for the tube is formed by the shaped edges of the panel 13 and a rim 14 riveted thereto and a recess 12 is provided in which the web is secured. The meeting edge of the door 4 is similarly formed with a smaller cylindrical engaging surface. The web of the tube may be cut at points where it is required to fit into corners. The tube may be inflated automatically or otherwise compressed air being supplied by a tube.
