Abstract

A fuel nozzle or the part in which the jets are formed is made from a sintered alloy, consisting of tungsten carbide and one or more auxiliary metals of lower melting point, such as iron, cobalt, or nickel up to 20 per cent, with or without titanium carbide up to 30 per cent.
