Abstract

450,399. Mats. BAUER, W. S., 81, Ridgeway, Golders Green, London. Dec. 4, 1934, No. 34836. [Class 142 (iv)] Link mats built up from rubberized fabric links form motor tyres &c. threaded on U- shaped rods 3, comprise full length strips 4, 5, 6, which are diagonally braced, either by undulating some 6 or all of them by means of spacing washers, or by combining them with shorter staggered or diagonal strips 9, or, as shown, by both methods. Metal links which may form a continuous chain may be sued outside the edge strips. The bent-over ends of the rods 3 are secured at 12 by welding &c. A golf mat made entirely from continuous strips and spacing washers, is described. U.S.A. Specification 1,966,465 is referred to.
