449,768. Photographic cameras. KODAK, Ltd., Kingsway, London.-(Assignees of Kodak Akt.-Ges. ; 27, Lindenstrasse, Berlin) Jan. 2, 1935, No. 140. Convention date, Jan. 16, 1934. [Class 98 (i)] In a collapsable camera of the kind having a hinged baseboard 16, connected by pin-and-slot mechanism to the lens panel to provide selferection, and in which the lens panel 4 and body 1 are connected by bellows 4<1> and also by crossed pivoted links 5, 6 so that the lens remains parallel to the body during the opening movement, there is provided on the lens panel a guide or slot 20 co-operating with a pin 19 on a bracket 18 fixed to the baseboard. The slot 20 lies between the link-pivots 10, 13, and when the camera is extended, it is securely held by the engagement of the pivot-pin 10 and pin 19 with the ends of their respective slots. To facilitate initiation of the opening or closing movement, the slot may be shaped, e.g. as shown, so that its end portions offer little resistance to the movement of the pin 19.
