[Class 98 (i)] A roll-film camera for use with two-part roll film packages as described in Specification 432,805 is provided with loading means to engage the separable parts of the package while forming a single unit and means whereby the separate parts are moved apart so that they will lie in the supply and take up chambers of the camera. Fig. 1 shows a pair of arms 6, 7 having ends engaging the two parts 14, 15 of the film package and operated through links 30 by the camera back 2 so that they open out and occupy the position shown in Fig. 4 when the camera is closed. Fig. 9 shows the ends of the arms 6, 7 in the form of curved straps 60, 61 within which fit the casing parts 62, 63. The casing parts are formed with a flange 64 which slides between the parts 60, 61 and with ribs 65, 66 which engage with slots 67, 68 on the straps 60, 61. Fig. 10 shows a camera in which the arms 79, 80 holding the film casing is operated by pins 75, 76 engaging cam grooves 72, 73 in the camera back. Fig. 12 shows a form wherein only one arm 96 operated by the camera back is employed, the second member being engaged in a holder 94 fixed to the camera. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also the subject-matter of Specification 423,836. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
