Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Seet. 91 of the Acts, March 12, 1935]. 87 (ii)] In an extrusion press provided with deaerating means, and comprising a mixing device a and a press cylinder b connected by an opening controlled by slides i, the device a does not extend to the rear wall of the cylinder b whereby an air space k is provided at the end of the cylinder which space is connected to suction through a pipe l. The device a is provided with kneading blades c driving through gearing e, d, f from the driven shaft g of the worm h in the cylinder b.
