[Class 38 (i)] In dynamo-electric machines, transformers, &c. of the type in which a number of separate insulated conductors are enclosed in a common insulating sheath, any necessary joints are made by soldering the conductors and enclosing the joint in a sleeve which is united to the sheath by vulcanization, if the sheath is of rubber, or other heat-treatment in the case of other materials. In the latter case, the sheath may be made of an asbestos and artificial resin.
