[Class 81 (ii)] Artificial teeth are removably attached to backing plates b, secured to a mounting a, by means of pins fixed in the teeth and having a portion c<1> which has a piston-like engagement in a recess b<1> formed in the plate. The recess engaging portion of the pin may be of prismatic or cylindrical form and the pin, in cases where viscous cement is employed, may be fluted as shown in Fig. 3.
