Teeth, artificial.-A bridge is formed by two fixed crowns 1, 3, connected by a gold plate A through which a screw B is passed into the false tooth 2. Fig. 6 shows a modification in which the plate A is fitted behind the teeth. The screw B may be threaded directly into the porcelain tooth, or into a platinum plug recessed into the tooth.
