Class. 81(2) A dental crown tooth comprises a crown 1, a root cap 2 and a pin 3 all formed in one piece, preferably from synthetic resin. The pin 3 is reinforced by a metal wire 4 extending through the centre of the pin and into the tooth.. The lingual face of the crown is shaped to lie parallel to and near the centre line of the tooth and the. edge of the cap is made to follow the enamel-cement line of the natural tooth.
