[Class 81 (ii)] A partial denture is anchored or located by a resilient arm 1 having at its end a concave or other shaped element 4 to engage a small area of the face of a contiguous natural tooth 5<SP>1</SP>. The inner end 2 of the arm is firmly secured in the plastic material 3 of the denture. The anchoring devices may be made by securing a series of wires to a strip of platinised gold, palladium alloy or stainless steel by soldering in an electric furnace and thereafter cutting the strip.
