Abstract

Teeth, artificial.-Relates to means for securing dentures, and consists in mounting in a denture at each side of a gap left for a sound tooth a spring-pressed ball which co-operates with the sound tooth. A recess c is formed by packing round a copper plug (not shown), vulcanizing, and then withdrawing the plug. Into the recess is inserted a tube e arranged so that a spring- pressed ball f slightly projects beyond the edge of the denture and bears against the adjacent sound tooth.
