Abstract

289,388. Scheu, K. April 25, 1927, [Convention date]. Teeth, artificial.-A backing plate 2 for artificial teeth is formed with an integral anchor member 1 bent out therefrom and provided with a longitudinal slot 6. The edges of the parts 4, 4<1> of the backing plate are adapted to engage beneath the heads of the pins 3 in a two-pin tooth, whilst the pin 5 of a single pin tooth, Fig. 5, may be passed into the slot 6 in the anchor member through an enlargement at the end of the slot, and held fast by bending the anchor piece. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states also that the backing plate may be used in combination with teeth having non-headed, round or flat pins. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
