Syringes.-In surgical syringe needles d provided with connecting pieces e for attachment to the syringe, the connecting piece e is of brass and is provided with a lining a of soft metal, preferably a tin alloy. The connecting- piece itself is of cruciform crosssection, the angles of the cross being rounded. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) the upper end g of the connecting piece is turned over and, after insertion of the needle, is compressed to secure the needle within the lining a. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
