Abstract

447,725. Handles for brushes, mirrors, &c. LEITER, H., 146c, Johannisstrasse, Nuremberg, Germany. Oct. 15, 1935, No. 28486. [Class 61 (i)] A hand mirror, brush or other toilet article 3 is secured in a loop-shapec U-section frame 1 con nected to a handle 11 to gether with a protective cardboard &c. layer 4, metal insertion 5 and back plate 6 by means of a screw 14 passing through a hole in the base of a sleeve 10 enclosing the converging ends 2 of the frame 1, said screw 14 bearing against a head 12 fixed to the metal insertion 5 and screwing in a nut 15 soldered between the ends 2 of the frame ; another nut 13 pulls the mounting into the sleeve 10, in the lower end of which the handle 11 is screwed. In a modification, nut 15 is omitted, screw 14 is secured at its upper end to metal insertion 5 and nut 13 is employed to clamp the part 5 in the frame and draw the latter into the sleeve.
