[Class 137] A ventilator for stables or cow-houses comprises a frame 1 in a wall opening the lower part of which is partially filled by a metal sheet 4, and the upper part of which is provided with a number of baffles 2 so inclined that wind directed horizontally causes an upwardly directed air current and an extractor effect on the air in the enclosure. Auxiliary baffles 7 assist the ventilation, and vertical baffles 5 prevent wind directed obliquely from above from entering the enclosure. In Fig. 3, baffles 21 of semicircular cross section are shown, each provided with a buffer plate 6. A horizontal ledge 3 extends into the enclosure to divide the upper extraction part from the lower part into which the air enters.
