Abstract

447,638. Handles. BAKER, MACPHERSON, & CO., Ltd., 22, Salisbury Road, Stanmore, near Sydney, Australia. June 5, 1935, No. 16277. Convention date, March 5, 1935. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Dec. 7, 1935.] [Class 61 (i)] [See also Group XV] Handles of hammers, tennis rackets, golf clubs, cricket bats, &c. are balanced by a weight 22 sliding on guide rods 21 in a recess 19 in the handle and adjusted by means of a rod 28 with threaded end 27 adapted to engage a threaded hole 26 in the weight; a rubber sleeve 25 round the weight holds it frictionally in adjusted position. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a construction, Fig. 1 (Cancelled), wherein the weight 12 is adjustable along the guide rods 13 by a screw rod 14 threading through the weight. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
