Abstract

465,414. Golf-club handles. VICKERY, N. P., and AMERICAN FORK & HOE CO. Nov. 5, 1935, No. 30581. [Class 132 (ii)] A tubular shaft is provided between the grip and head with one or more whip accentuating regions of circular cross-section. The region 2 is constituted by a local reduction in the diameter of the shaft 1 or by a local reduction in the thickness of the walls. The region is relatively short but of a length at least twice as great as its diameter. In a set of clubs the region is placed progressively closer to the head as the shaft length decreases.
