498,994. Exercising -apparatus. ESTELLES, G. June 2, 1938, No. 16518. [Class 132 (i)] A dumb-bell or other hand-held exerciser comprises a grip portion 1, a shaft 2 extending therethrough, screw-threads at either end of the shaft, a weighted end half-portion 3 held on each end of the shaft by a nut 3a and having a recess for the end of portion 1, and a second end half-portion 4 is carried by a screw member 5 engaging with the extreme end of the shaft. Alternative details of construction are shown at each end of the dumb-bell illustrated.
