[Class 136 (iii)] [Also in Groups XXIII and XV] A grip or handle for bats, rackets, golf clubs, cycle handle bars, &c. comprises a number of lengths of rubber tubing e laid in longitudinal grooves b in a handle or handle sleeve a and bound round at intervals with wire f disposed in peripheral grooves c, the whole being enclosed in an outer sleeve k. In the modification, Fig. 4, the rubber tubes e are retained in the handle grooves by wires o clamped in position by end rings q, ql.
