[Class 37] A fixed indicating plate 1 for radio receivers is provided with a number of inclined slots 2 ... 9 and co-operates with a movable plate having a radial slot, a source of illumination behind the plates producing a spot of light as the slits intersect during relative movement of the plates. The slots are arranged at increasing heights over one half of the scale and at decreasing heights over the other half. The index plate has the station names arranged in rectangular divisions, each slot 2... 7 forming the diagonal of one division, the slots 8, 9 giving indications on an arcuate scale of a second wavelength range.
