437,237. Adjusting wireless apparatus. WATTS, C., 32, Gourock Road, Eltham, London. March 13, 1935, No. 7859. [Class 37] A tuning-indicator comprises one or more strips a movable under the action of the tuning control with or without a pointer i<1> co-operating with a fixed wavelength scale, the portions of the strip beyond the viewing aperture each being received into hollow guides k, h. The strips are driven from the tuning control m by sprockets b and the indicator i is carried axially by a sleeve g along a grooved drum l which is secured on the driving shaft c. The strips a may be left blank for inscribing the station names thereon and they may be coloured, or illuminated by coloured lights to distinguish the wavelength ranges.
